Love interests:
LINE 1: A client/patient. An older women who thinks he's adorable and forms a close friendship with him but slowly starts to fall for him even though he's a few years younger and legally underage.
don't really have anyone in mind.
LINE 2: A resident of the town. He meets her randomly out and about and develops a small crush on her. This only makes his disorder worse because he thinks he's not good enough for her because of his distorted body image. But she cares for him and tries to help him through it no matter how frustrating he may get.
LINE 3: I like the therapist/doctor idea that someone posted. I think that'd be fun to develop into a story. Therapist/doctor could be male or female. He/she likes him but again he's too young and obviously frowned upon in the profession developing attachments to your patients/clients. Something dramatic like he/she is so infatuated with him that he/she threatens to write in his papers that he's worse and will have to stay in the facility longer and longer just so he/she can continue to see him. He doesn't want the relationship which only make him/her work harder/continue with different threats. Maybe this therapist is suffering from a sin of his/her own?
LINE 4: A male client/patient. They develop a very strong friendship/connection since he is alone here basically and he becomes his "go to" person. He really opens up to this person and lets himself become vulnerable to him. His feelings for him get stronger and stronger as time goes on and he is internally conflicted about his sexual orientation.
Friends:
Anyone really, not picky.
